| Structure | The HUSAR FRA-11 IDF team is composed by units from all Paris zone. This zone includes 5 fire services, one of them being a military force for over 200 years, for historical reasons. This unit (BSPP) is under the responsibility of the Prefect of Paris and is associated with the 4 civilian fire services (SDIS) in a region called “Ile-de- France”. This group is designed to ensure altogether the Civil Protection Mechanism in this area. Its area of responsibility is the Ile-de-France region, the French territory (on the resolution of DGSCGC) and the foreign countries (on the resolution of the government). The disasters to which the SDIS are exposed can be: – Railway accidents; – Aviation accidents; – Fires, explosions, buildings collapse; – Forest fires – Road accidents; – NRBC hazardous accidents; – Avalanches, mudflows, landslides; – Floods; – Earthquake; – Technological accident; In ordinary circumstances, all its components perform their normal missions, according to their respective posts. |
