| Structure | The FR USAR South team is composed of active experts coming from several fire and rescue services of the French south civil defence zone. All of them participate daily in the local response on fires, rescues, first aids and medical emergencies. With 250 firefighters and almost 30 medical doctors and nurses, trained with INSARAG methodology, each day FR USAR South is able to provide a Heavy USAR with all the components of a classified team : management team (9 pax), search element (8 pax), rescue element (32 pax), medical element (7 pax) and logistic element (8 pax). Self-sufficient during 10 day, our governmental team uses to work on field alone or in collaboration with the others French classified or accredited USAR teams and EMT. |
