Structure • Swiss Rescue is structured according to the INSARAG guidelines: • The operational unit is subdivided into two task forces (TF). This allows them to work on two work sites simultaneously. Each TF is led by a Chief Rescue and is divided into 2 sections with a leader, 6 rescuers and 2 dog handlers. In the TF are HazMat specialists, structural engineers and medical experts. Shifting is foreseen after 8-12 hrs • The medical experts includes 3 rescue doctors, 4 paramedics •The USAR coordination capacity (incl. RDC and UCC capacity) is given •The education/training is carried out according to the INSARAG Guidelines
