Structure	The Italian Light USAR Team is the operational component of the Italian Government’s mission, coordinated by the Civil Protection Department (CPD) through a Head of Mission and a Mission Liaison Officer. The team is composed of two organizations operating at the regional level under a bilateral agreement. • Italian National Fire and Rescue Service, Piedmont Region (18 personnel) • Piedmont Regional Health Service – “Azienda Zero della Regione Piemonte” (2 personnel) Team structure: • Management (5) including at least one Structural Engineer • Technical Search (2) • Rescue (8) including HazMat, Rope Rescue and Rigging specialists • Logistics (3) including one Communications specialist • Medical (2) The team can conduct Cultural Heritage Safeguard operations continuously for up to seven days.
